BONONIA
Bononia, latin for Bologna, is a statement Tibaldi pen style celebrating the brand’s iconic heritage with a fresh new bohemian sweep on trends.
Last edited in the ‘90s, the Bononia collection is offered today as an open edition of fountain, rollerball and ballpoint writing instruments, boasting lavish velvety colors of streaked pearlised resin with signature palladium trims. Truly a must-order piece of jewelry!
Posh aesthetics, laid back chambers and cocktails du jour seem to call for just one precise quote we all remember so well: “Wanna go with me, old sport?” … that's right, welcome to Gatsby’s lounge garden
Creating the first pen entirely produced at home was the dream of Giuseppe Tibaldi, who in 1916 founded the brand with his own name in Florence. A real Italian-style industrial success that lingers in 1965 with his death.
This rampant label from the beginning of the last century continues its history of exciting creativity in the Venetian scenario, where the Aquila family has resided and has been operating for decades in the pen industry.
The Florentine “villino” - historic hub of ink creations moved to Bassano del Grappa in 2004.
Since then, together with the Montegrappa pen collections, they have created a compelling and highly appreciated synergy.
The new pen collections are a vocabulary of remastered iconic pieces, where streetstyle trends marry fashion. The intersections of colors and avant-garde materials shock with unexpected choices, and the cool and experimental elegance suits everyone.
Unisex models become damned must-haves of accessible luxury and merge into contemporary and global eclecticism.
They are not simply pens to be written, they are primers of one's own style to be appropriated with the impulse of emotion.
